1-Minute Devotional: Full of Love

1-Minute Devotional: Full of Love

READ: Psalm 33.

"For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord." v. 4-5

There's so much beauty packed in this chapter, but I could not stop thinking about these verses. I kept rereading them. The earth is full of love...

So refreshing to find that everything we've been searching for has been surrounding us all along. Faithful love in a shaky world. Even in our imperfection, God still finds himself at home. His love is right where it was always meant to be...here with us.

CHALLENGE: If your life is anything like mine, ish can hit the fan at any point during your week. I want to challenge you to pray when you feel overwhelmed by any trial that may occur in your life. Prayer is as simple as opening your mouth and speaking. You can converse with God the way you would with a counselor, parent or friend - with full disclosure and confidence. He already knows your tea, anyways. But it's always nice to be told!

You may be in an incredible season of life right now. What does it look like for you to show gratitude to God? To proclaim the same truths David spoke in the Scriptures? God would love to hear your voice today. <3

PRAY: God, thank you for filling our imperfect world with your perfect love. Show me how deeply I'm surrounded by it. Open my eyes to your love in an unforgettable way. Thank you that your faithfulness never ends. It has nothing to do with who I am, but everything to do with who you are. Thank you for accepting me for who I am. I'm willing to allow you to shape me into who I'm meant to be.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
